Ramadan Mubarak to you all! Alhumdhulillah, for the past 7 years, Jeeva Shanty Trust (JST) has been extending its warm embrace to outstation students, travelers, patients, and ulamas who lack access to fresh food at Suhoor time. Last year, we distributed an average of 4000 Suhoor meals per day, providing standard-quality nutritious food for fasting Muslims. This year, we have received requests for 5000 meals per day, and In Shaa Allah, we are diligently working on meeting this demand. With your invaluable support, we can make it possible.
Your donations enable us to provide nutritious meals to those in need, ensuring they observe Ramadan with dignity and ease. Alhumdhulillah, for one day of free Sahar meals distribution (5000+ Sahar meals on average), it costs us approximately 3 Lakhs rupees, with the cost per meal being around Rs. 60. We utilize essential materials such as 650 kgs of rice, 90 litres of cooking oil, 30 litres of ghee, 500 kgs of onions, 500 kgs of channa, 300 litres of curd, 70 kgs of ginger-garlic paste, various masala items, and other vegetables. Additionally, 400 kgs of either non-veg or vegetables are used daily.
